my heart takes a deep breath, one.. two.. three..
it has never seemed to me that time would pass so fast.
in a blink of an eye, everyone is grown up and everything is changing. primary, secondary, college.
meeting and socialising with different people have had a great impact my life. especially when your friends are leaving and it might even be the last time you see them.
'keep in contact', is what we say.. but with ever changing situations, it might not be possible.
yet i hope for the best, that we will be able to keep in touch and remember one another.
so that we can always meet up again and see how much every one of us has changed.so that we appreciate one another, not only for the short few moments, but for a lifetime.i can't say it isn't hard on them just as it is for me, so i don't blame them. after all, they are the ones taking the larger risk compared to us here.
all this is for their benefit.. who am I to stop them just so i don't have to take a step out of my usual safe circle? selfish i am not.
sacrificing other people's well being just for my own benefit is not of my nature.
farewell parties have been held to
appreciate them, gifts have been exchanged to keep our memories. now the only thing left is to see them off for one last time.. to let them know that
we will always be there for them.this post goes to my friends,
hanyi and
li-shen who are
leaving for australia for further education.
i know we all will miss them a lot.knowing and contacting them constantly for a few years is not something easy that i normally do for all of my friends, so
they do mean a lot to me..
i wonder how much my life is going to change without them and their support here.february is known as 'the month of love', and it can come in many forms.
for one, i feel that this will be one of the most meaningful months for the year 2008 and probably the next few years to come.
